1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PREDICTA ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). PREDICTA is a facilitator of peer-to-peer skill-based prediction competitions. We do not offer gambling services, sportsbook operations, or "house-banked" games. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

  • Peer-to-Peer Operations: PREDICTA provides the technology for users to create and join private prediction pools. Users compete exclusively against other users.
  • Platform Neutrality: PREDICTA never participates in pools, never sets odds, and has no financial interest in the outcome of any match or pool.
  • Winner-Funded: All prize pools consist solely of the entry fees contributed by participants. The Platform does not fund prize pools.

3. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must be:

  • At least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
  • Located in a jurisdiction where skill-based social prediction competitions are permitted.
  • Not prohibited from using the Platform by any applicable law.

4. Fees and Revenue

PREDICTA is transparent about its revenue model:

  • Platform Service Fee: A fixed percentage (currently 5%) is deducted from the total pot of each resolved pool to cover operational costs, server maintenance, and development.
  • Withdrawal Fee: A fee is applied to wallet withdrawals to cover payment processing server charges.
  • No Hidden Earnings: The Platform does not profit from user losses. Our revenue is strictly derived from the services we provide as a facilitator.

5. Pool Rules and Settlements

  • Creation: Users create pools based on real-world sporting events using third-party data feeds.
  • Joining: Participation requires an entry fee, which is held securely in escrow until the match concludes.
  • Settlement: Winners are determined based on objective match results. The "Winner Takes All" model means the participant(s) with the correct prediction share the net pot (Total Pot minus Platform Fee).
  • Errors: In the event of a data feed error or match cancellation, pools may be voided and entry fees refunded to the users' wallets.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate pool outcomes.
  • collude with other users to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Use the Platform for money laundering or any illegal activity.

7. Limitation of Liability

PREDICTA is provided "as is". We are not responsible for losses due to technical failures, data feed errors, or third-party service interruptions. Your participation is at your own risk and discretion.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
